Lakewood Ranch is a master-planned community of approximately 8,500 acres, continually ranked among the top-selling communities in the United States. Situated in southeast Manatee County, east of I-75, it offers a diverse range of home styles from attached villas to sprawling custom estates.

Lakewood Ranch boasts A-rated schools in the Manatee County School District. Children may attend Robert Willis Elementary, Dr. Mona Jain Middle School, and Lakewood Ranch High School. Several private and charter school options are also nearby.

Activities & Recreation
Lakewood Ranch has a plethora of facilities and activities available for all ages. The Sarasota Polo Club offers 9 regulation fields on 130 acres and is open all year round, offering Sunday afternoon polo matches for the public during the winter months. Nathan Benderson Park is also popular with families, and its 600 acres is home to a 500-acre lake and the 2017 World Rowing Championships. This beautiful public park offers a 2,000-meter sprint rowing course, as well as canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding.
The Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club is a private club offering courses and a number of state-of-the-art amenities. With 54 holes, Cypress Links, King’s Dunes and the Royal Lakes are challenging courses that provide exciting play for all skill levels. In addition to golf, members can also enjoy their 13,000 square foot fitness facility, 2 heated outdoor pools and 18 lighted clay tennis courts. There are many other golf clubs in the area, such as The Concession Golf Club, The Esplanade Golf and Country Club and more.

From the Florida Studio Theatre to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Sarasota has an abundance of social and cultural venues to stimulate the mind and spirit.
