Stone Walk Homes for Sale

Stone Walk is a deed restricted community located directly off of E. Venice Avenue, just east of the Jacaranda Blvd round about in Venice, Florida. It consists of 72 single-family homes that encircle a scenic lake. The homes on the inside the circle have lake views. The Stone Walk homes for sale on the outside the circle mostly have preserve views. The community was originally started in 2006 by Caithness Construction, who ran into financial problems and sold the development to Medallion Homes. Both are quality builders that build homes of distinction. Many of the homes in Stone Walk have stately columns and stacked stone accents. They are all sturdy block construction. Roofs are either tile or shingles. They feature soaring ceilings and large luxurious kitchens with gorgeous intricate wood cabinet designs, upgraded appliances and granite counters. The Home Owners Association fees are very reasonable and paid annually. There are no community development district (CDD) fees. Homeowners maintain their own yards. The community has a crisp clean appearance with wide sidewalks and underground utilities. Homes are supplied with public water and sewer.

Starting at the round-a-bout at Jacaranda Blvd. and E. Venice Ave., proceed east to Venice East Blvd. Turn right on Lee Road into the community.

Most homes have private swimming pools so the community does not have a clubhouse, community pool or many of the amenities of larger communities. What it does have is an immaculate neighborhood of beautiful homes.

I-75 is just minutes away with the closest access at exit 191 at N. River Road. Airports are about an hour away. Sarasota Bradenton Airport is about an hour to the north. Southwest Florida International Airport is about an hour to the south in Fort Myers.

Venice Municipal Beach is a straight run down Venice Ave. and is less than 7 miles and 15 minutes away. Numerous restaurants are close by like British Open Pub, Cracker Barrel and more. Just minutes away, you can go "Old Florida" with a visit to Snook Haven and enjoy rustic dining, a river boat ride, and live music. Venice, Florida has a small town feel with activities non-stop.
