Life in Venice
The Eagle Point Club real estate has a perfectly secluded location. Simply crossing the North bridge of the Island of Venice puts you in downtown Venice, Florida where life is a little slower and moves along at a relaxed pace. Sandals replace dress shoes, and outdoor dining is commonplace.
Saturday mornings feature our nationally recognized Farmers Market where you can casually stroll while selecting fresh produce and vegetables, arts and crafts, locally grown honey, and much more. The Venice Theatre, on Tampa Ave, is recognized as one of the most successful, non-profit theaters in the country. It offers professionally produced shows and musicals that will entertain you and draw out your raw emotions.
A stroll down Venice Ave. will require you to sawtooth in and out of every shop because each has something more unique than the last. Palm trees line the streets and provide a tropical backdrop that will make you feel you are always on vacation. The Island of Venice offers fine dining at Fins at Sharky’s, Crowsnest Restaurant, and many others. You can enjoy casual dining where you can enjoy people watching at an outdoor cafe and enjoy our glorious weather.
Venice offers a variety of options to enjoy water sports as well. You don’t need to own a boat as there are a myriad of opportunities to charter a sunset sail, fish for your own grouper sandwich, or scuba dive for fossil sharks teeth. Certainly the beaches can not be overlooked. One can walk for miles along our sandy coastline enjoying unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico or lay on a beach towel and do absolutely nothing.
