The Sarasota County Croquet Club was created in 2000 and has approximately 160 members. The Club has three regulation courts. The SCCC is the largest public facility dedicated to croquet in the United States.

Venice Newcomers Club is a social organization where singles and couples can meet new people and get to know each other while enjoying a variety of activities. The club organizes day trips, dining adventures, golf, beach picnics, dances, concerts, cruises, etc. Dues are approximately $45. per year.
