The community was developed by Venetian Development, Inc. and Fourth Quarter Properties. All of the homes in Venetia are of block construction with stucco. They have tile roofs that fit well with the Tuscan theme. The community has public water and sewer and underground utilities. The streets all have a clean look with street lights and sidewalks.
The Venetia homes for sale are found in a planned deed restricted residential community consisting of a total of 643 single family homes, condos and villas. They are broken down as follows: 375 single family homes, 108 maintenance free villas, and 160 maintenance free condominium units. The Venetia Community Association (VCA) is the master association. The entire subdivision encompasses 322 acres, a substantial portion of which are lakes and preserves. It was developed in five phases. It takes only minutes to drive to the miles of sandy Gulf beaches.

Location and Directions
Venetia is located in Venice, Florida in the vicinity of Tamiami Trail S. (U.S. 41) and Jacaranda Blvd. Its central location makes it a great place to live. The community is literally a minute to a Super Walmart, Publix, shopping and restaurants like Outback Steakhouse, Rib City, Bob Evans and a couple of minutes to Bonefish Grill and Carrabas. Venetia has two entrances. The main entrance is on Jacaranda Blvd, a few hundred yards to the west of Tamiami Trail S. The entrance is to your left as you head west. The entrance is gated and you will need an access code or will need to stop and buzz whomever you are visiting on the security panel at the gate. The second entrance is on Tamiami Trail S., and is located less than 1/4 mile to the south. It will be on your right, (west) side of the street. You will need to be a resident with a swipe card to access this entrance.
