Sun Fiesta

The Sun Fiesta in Venice, Florida is an fun filled event for the whole family. Sponsored by the Women’s Sertoma Club of Venice, this event draws thousands downtown Venice. The day began with a series of bed races as spirited teams competed for trophies. The American Legion Honor Guard proudly led the parade followed by the Venice High School band and the Venice Middle School band. There were clowns, Shriners, floats, dancers, Smokey the Bear, and so much more. Food of every variety was plentiful. The new Miss Sun Fiesta was crowned followed by dance performances and a local talent contest.
