Solstice Community Information - Wellen Park
Solstice will find its place in this mix of unique and desirable neighborhoods between Wysteria and the already-established Islandwalk area, and also between Preto Boulevard and Manasota Beach Road. This puts Solstice within a 20 minute drive of Venice and the same to Manasota Key to the west.

The plan for Solstice at Wellen Park is to build 270 new homes, divided between one and two-story attached villas, and a range of single-family homes as well.
The construction of a sales center and four model homes will begin in the spring of 2021, with sales and tours beginning in the fall.
You can expect to find some classic Florida architecture, with accents of Spanish Revival and Coastal Colonial, including lanais, covered pools, spas, decks, open-plan interiors with tall ceilings, and the latest in high-tech appliances and fittings.
There will also likely be details like exterior shutters, low-hipped roofs with tiles, arched porticos, sash windows, and large road-facing garages.
Solstice Attractions & Amenities
Residents of Solstice at Wellen Park will be able to enjoy all the benefits of Wellen Park living, from the abundance of clubhouses, tennis courts, pickleball courts, spas and pools, and dining options.
Solstice is also near the proposed site for Downtown Wellen, an exciting destination that’s planned to include dining, a town hall, play areas for kids, trails, and a small lake with an outfitter to provide paddle boards and kayaks. Downtown Wellen is expected to open near the end of 2022.
Further afield, residents of Wellen Park can visit Venice for boutique shopping and fine dining, or one of the nearby key islands for sunbathing on the endless white-sand beaches.
To the east are the Myakka State Forest and huge Myakka River State Park, as well as the Deer Prairie Reserve. These nature reserves line the Myakka River which flows south to empty into a large bay and wildlife preserve. Take a boat trip down here for viewing the abundant wildlife, including all kinds of birds and even manatees.
The entire area is brimming with natural beauty, small towns and farmland to the east, big towns and resort-like amenities to the west, some of the best beaches in the world, and fantastic high-quality real estate at home.
