Venice, Florida: The Best Place for a Staycation

Residents of Venice, Florida know that they rarely have to leave town to experience something new. 

So while many are taking long road trips or traveling through airports to take advantage of the scenic white sand beaches of this coastal city, Venice residents need only step outside their front door to begin their staycation.

Take your Venice experience to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico and enjoy Venice from a chartered boat from one of the many marinas and boat rental businesses.  A day on the Gulf of Mexico is an unforgettable experience allowing the opportunity to cruise, fish, swim and much more.  Make unforgettable memories as you experience the Florida sunset topside from the deck, or under the waves as you scuba dive hunting for fossil sharks teeth millions of years old.

Downtown Sightseeing

Enjoy the ambiance of Downtown Venice from an outsiders perspective as you stroll through these clean, serene streets in a quaint walkable downtown.  Enjoy shopping and indoor or outdoor dining in over 100 local shops and restaurants unique to Venice.

And when you finally need a break from shopping and exploring everything downtown Venice has to offer, relax with a show at one of Florida’s largest community theatres, the centrally located Venice Theatre.
