What Exactly Is a Subtropical Climate?

A subtropical climate is typically characterized by hot, humid summers and mild, warm winters, with a general increase in rainfall, but lack of snow.

Subtropical climates tend to exist on the southeastern side of continents, as evidenced by places such as Taiwan and Vietnam in southeast Asia, Paraguay and Uruguay in southeast South America, and of course Florida in southeast North America.

Most of this rain falls between the months of June and August, with the rest of the year being full of beautiful, clear days.
