• Habitat is a Charitable/Not for profit organization filed in 1976.
• Partner families buy homes that Habitat builds or renovates.
• Habitat makes no profit on the sales.
• Habitat for Humanity operates Restores that sells donated items to raise funds for home construction.  Local Restores are located in:
  • Sarasota
  • Venice
  • North Port
