Gulf Shores Realty wins Beautification Award in Venice Florida

Gulf Shores Realty was the recipient of the Venice Chamber of Commerce’s Beautification Award for October 2012.  The prestigious award is presented monthly to area Chamber businesses or organizations that have made a contribution to the Venice area by enhancing the appearance of their building or property.

Extensive renovations of the building, property, landscape, parking lot, signage, and interior have resulted in an office that is both cosmetically appealing as well as functional.  “This was truly a group effort” said Wayne Welsh, Broker-Owner.  Hap Welsh, the Office Manager was tasked with interior decorating, furniture, and the color palates, both inside and out.  Many of the interior decorations came from Sunshine Boyz Island Home at 121 W. Venice Ave.   Wayne Welsh, oversaw the project in a very hands on way.  The exterior of the building was painted in a single day thanks to their agents, friends, and family who rolled up their sleeves and picked up paint brushes and rollers.  “We love our location.  We can smell the salt air being  mere blocks from the beach and hear Quaker parrots in the trees outside.  The Island of Venice has a vacation feel all the time” said Wayne.  The real winners are our customers with an easy to find location, ample parking, and fully handicap access, and hot coffee all the time; Gulf Shores Realty invites you to stop by to discuss your real estate needs.
